Benchmarking for the BWC

The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the October program --- Benchmarking for the BWC -- on Friday, October 17.

The keynote speaker will be Rich Gaul, BWC Division of Safety & Hygiene Technical Advisor.

Gaul will talk about the key elements of an effective safety culture and how to benchmark your company's current safety culture.

He will discuss the evolution from basic safety compliance to a world-class safety system. He will illustrate the importance of top leadership commitment to developing and maintaining a robust safety culture.

Gaul joined the BWC in 1993 and has held several positions in his 21 years with the organization. He is the BWC's subject matter expert in safety culture change and leadership development.

He has helped hundreds of companies evaluate, develop and implement effective safety and health programs.

Gaul will share statistical data showing the dramatic impact of a comprehensive safety process, and how safety can be integrated into any current business management model.

The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m.

The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Reservations may be made online at the LCSC web site listed below.
