Infectious & Communicable Diseases in the Work Place
The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the program -- Infectious & Communicable Diseases in the Work Place -- at the Friday, September 20 Lake County Safety Council meeting. Dr. Nancy Rodway from Lake Health will be the keynote speaker. She is the medical director of Lake Health occupational health and urgent care centers. She will describe the contagion risk from communicable diseases and the route of spreading. Dr. Rodway is board certified in occupational health and pathology. She will present options and methods for the audience to consider to limit the risk of transmission of these diseases. She will highlight select common communicable diseases in the work place. Dr. Rodway earned her medical degree from Ohio State University and completed residences at Summa Health System and the University of Pennsylvania. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m. The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
